I am a writer of nonfiction and fiction, cultural anthropologist, archivist, and translator. From 2015 to 2019, I was the archivist for the Radio Haiti Archive.

My research focuses on the 2010 Haiti earthquake and its aftermath and, more recently, on Radio Haïti-Inter and the history contained in its archive. I am working on a book, tentatively titled We Sway, We Do Not Fall, that brings those stories together.

My work has received support from the Camargo Foundation, the Social Science Research Council, and the Inter-American Foundation.

I currently lead the Haitian Creole team at Respond Crisis Translation.
